Vorbereitung für eine Betriebssystem-Installation

Standardmäßig kann dort Wyse ThinOS drauf sein, und da will man vielleicht was anderes nutzen...

Mit F2 ins Bios
mit Passwort "Fireport" das BIOS entsperren
SecureBoot ausschalten
USB-Boot einschalten
Neustarten
Mit F12 in den Bootloader springen und man kann von USB booten

Betriebssysteme

Ubuntu Server scheint ganz gut zu laufen, die x86-Version von DietPi wohl auch. Debian an sich bootet ohne Nacharbeit nicht, denn Debian weigert sich, nicht-standardgemäße UEFI-Implementationen zu unterstützen - und so eine hat der kleine 3040:
